At the core of restaurants, of course, is food, and its quality. In fact, Datassential director of content Conaghan suggests that the quality of food in particular needs to be ensured to meet the demands of today’s more cautious consumer, whether it’s served in the restaurant or delivered.
Here, Nation’s Restaurant News has pulled out the 10 restaurant chains with the highest quality food, according to consumers. The percentages corelate to the number of consumers rating the brands “best in class” or “above average” in craveability.
The brands on this list represent a wide variety of segments from quick service to casual dining. Nine of the companies on this list were also on last year’s list, and three brands from 2021 are not on this year’s list. The No. 1 restaurant remains the same.
