ATLANTA Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc. said today it has appointed a former Heineken and Pizza Hut marketing executive, Stephen Davis, as its new chief marketing officer, effective Jan. 5.
Davis replaces Cheryl Barre, who resigned earlier this year. Davis will be responsible for leading all strategic brand marketing efforts for the 3,735-unit Arby’s system, including product development, national and field marketing, advertising, media, consumer insights and research, Arby’s said.
Prior to this position, Davis served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Heineken North America and held senior leadership positions at the Pizza Hut and Pepsi-Cola brands of PepsiCo Inc.
Arby’s is owned by Wendy’s/Arby’s Group Inc., which also operates or franchises the Wendy’s burger chain.
