Fresh Brothers Pizza gets a new CEO.

Los Angeles-based Fresh Brothers Pizza names Geoffrey Goodman as new CEO

Geoffrey Goodman has succeeded Fresh Brothers pizza founder Adam Goldberg as CEO

Fresh Brothers Pizza has named former Cicis Pizza and Rita’s Italian Ice executive Geoffrey Goodman as CEO, succeeding founder Adam Goldberg who stepped down in 2017 as head of the 20-unit, Los Angeles-based company. Goodman will be in charge of overseeing company performance and operations.

Goodman has more than two decades of experience in leadership positions at pizza brands like Cici’s and Round Table, as well as experience at food and hospitality companies like Rita’s Italian Ice, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream and Remarkable Brands Co, LLC.

“Fresh Brothers’ premium product, dedicated fan base and brand ethos stand out in a crowded pizza field,” said Goodman in a statement. “I’m thrilled about the opportunity to continue on the great foundation that has been built.”

He will be taking Fresh Brothers into a new era of strategic growth for the company that currently operates 20 restaurants, all in Southern California.

"We were impressed with Geoff’s talent and tenacity to grow our brand, so it’s a pleasure to welcome him to the Fresh Brothers executive team," said Peter Nolan, Chairman of Fresh Brothers’ investment group Nolan Capital, Inc. in a statement. "We look forward to achieving many brand milestones with Geoff’s expertise and dedication leading the charge."

Nolan Capital Inc. made a major investment in Fresh Brothers in 2016, with the goal of growing the company to 50 units by 2021.
