The month of December saw fewer C-suite moves than previous months, with only 15 people assuming new roles or leaving previous ones in the restaurant industry. However, there were still some big moves, including new CEOs at California Pizza Kitchen, the Mina Group, Fiesta Restaurant Group, and Small Sliders.
There were new CFOs named at Krispy Kreme and Clean Juice, and a new chief development officer for Quiznos parent company Rego Restaurant Group. IHOP named a new vice president of culinary.
Plus, the Sweetgreen chief operations officer left the company due to personal reasons, and a successor was promptly named, and the Jack in the Box chief financial officer also abruptly left the company in December.
