Potbelly buys NCR hardware

News

CHICAGO Potbelly Sandwich Works based here is pairing NCR Corp. RealPOS 70 terminals and related hardware with Aloha by Radiant Systems point-of-sale software, the chain and the vendor said.

Already installed in 33 of Potbelly's approximately 140 restaurants, the terminals, thermal printers and cash drawers from Atlanta-based NCR will be used in new PSW stores, as well.

"We chose this comprehensive POS solution from NCR for its ability to speed our transaction times, which increases our operational efficiencies," said Tamy Duplantis, vice president of information technology for the chain known for hot sandwiches, hand-dipped shakes and live music.
