17 restaurant executives on the move in April

More CEOs were appointed last month

Another month has gone, and another group of restaurant CEOs has been on the move. We thought March had a lot of CEO appointments, but April held its own. Within a few days, three company CEOs were named at corporations across the country, from Playa Bowls to Carrol’s Restaurant Group, one of Burger King’s largest franchisees.

Dig and Fiesta Restaurant Group also named new CEOs last month.

At Inspire Brands, there was a big shake-up when Claudia San Pedro left her post, leading to several leadership positions moving around. That led to new presidents for Arby’s and Buffalo Wild Wings. Later in the month, the company named a new chief people officer.

Elsewhere, Starbucks named a new general counsel, Dine Brands named a new chief people officer, and McDonald’s added two to its leadership team — as did Capriotti’s and WingZone. Chuck E. Cheese named a new chief marketing officer and Earl Enterprises named someone to head non-traditional growth.
