ATLANTA Shane’s Rib Shack, the 85-unit chain based here, will give away a free chicken tenders meal to all customers wearing an “I Voted Today” sticker on Nov. 4, Election Day, the company said Monday.
Customers of legal voting age who are wearing the sticker will receive Shane’s Vote America Meal, which includes three chicken tenders, French fries and a 20-ounce drink. Following Election Day, the three-piece meal will be available for a limited time and priced at $5.
The chain already offers as permanent menu items chicken tender meals including four-, six- or 10-piece options with two sides. Chain officials said the limited-time, three-piece meal for $5 would be “an affordable meal option … in continued support … of Americans during this current economic environment.”
Shane’s Rib Shack is owned by multi-concept franchisor Raving Brands, which franchises other chains including Planet Smoothie, Doc Greens, The Flying Biscuit, Boneheads and Monkey Joe’s, its only non-foodservice operation.
