Red Robin tries a non-burger, other LTOs

GREENWOOD VILLAGE Colo. Red Robin Gourmet Burgers said it will feature a new chicken wrap and two new types of burgers for a limited time at all 350 of the casual chain’s outlets.

The promotional array, available Feb. 27 through April 22, will also include two new non-alcoholic beverages and a new rum-based cocktail, according to franchisor Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc.

The new menu items, which will be featured on table cubes and banners, include the Mo-Cheese-Mo Burger - a char-broiled burger patty topped with Swiss, Provolone, Parmesan and bleu cheeses and garnished with green leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion and garlic mayo on rustic ciabatta bread.

Other new items will be the Bruschetta Chicken Burger, a grilled whole breast of chicken with bruschetta salsa, pesto aioli, Provolone cheese, shredded romaine lettuce and balsamic cream on rustic ciabatta bread; and the Buzzard Chicken Wrap, consisting of chicken breast tenders tossed in a cayenne pepper sauce, celery, carrots, romaine lettuce, crumbled Bleu cheese and Bleu cheese dressing rolled into a jalapeno-cheese flour tortilla, served with fresh melon and steak fries.

In addition to the burgers and wrap, Red Robin is introducing three beverages: Mandarin Mayhem Limeade - a combination of mandarin orange and lime syrups, lemon-lime soda and fresh squeezed limes; the Mayan Mango Smoothie - a blend of coconut cream, pineapple juice, mango and vanilla cream; and Swaggering Starfish - a blend of spiced rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice and mango.
