Red Mango selects ad agency

LOS ANGELES The Red Mango frozen yogurt chain has picked The Richards Group of Dallas as its agency of record. Billings were not disclosed.

The agency will be responsible for brand and creative development, strategic planning, public relations, event marketing and online initiatives.

The Richards Group created the famous Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin” cows, which appear in TV and print ads and on the chain’s annual calendar.

“The agency has demonstrated an impressive ability to integrate brand campaigns across various disciplines, and we’re enthusiastic to have them be a part of the Red Mango team,” Jim Notarnicola, Red Mango’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement.

Red Mango, a leading frozen yogurt brand in South Korea, opened its first U.S. unit in July 2007 in Los Angeles. Red Mango USA now has more than 40 stores in California, New York, Washington, Illinois, Hawaii, New Jersey, Nevada, Utah and Oregon.
