DALLAS The Red Mango frozen yogurt chain introduced Tuesday a new limited-time cocoa flavor.
Joining the chain’s three core flavors — original, pomegranate and Tangomonium — the new cocoa flavor offers the same natural probiotics and is made with organic fair trade cocoa beans. Stores also offer an organic chocolate sauce to complement the flavor, Red Mango said.
The new flavor is available at participating locations through March 16.
“Made with real cocoa beans, which have a bold and complex flavor profile, our latest creation delivers the rich and sophisticated taste of real cocoa,” said Dan Kim, Red Mango’s founder, president and chief executive. “Cocoa is healthy, nonfat and guilt-free, making it the perfect winter treat.”
Red Mango’s primary rival Pinkberry, with more than 75 locations, debuted a chocolate flavor in November.
Based in Dallas, Red Mango has 60 locations in 13 states.
