Raising Cane’s hires purchasing VP

BATON ROUGE La. The 70-unit Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers chain has appointed Shawn Jenkins to the new post of vice president of purchasing.

Jenkins most recently was vice president of purchasing for Metromedia Restaurant Group of Plano, Texas. He also has worked for Brinker International Inc. and 7-Eleven Inc. 

Jenkins is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics.
