DENVER Quiznos, the 5,000-unit sandwich chain based here, is adding a Baja Chicken sub as a limited-time promotional item.
The new sandwich, available through Aug. 12, features two Tex-Mex sauces, Smokey Baja and a mild chipotle mayo. Cilantro, used in place of lettuce, punches up the flavor as well, said chef Zach Calkins, Quiznos director of culinary development.
Quiznos will promote the LTO through another run of its “Wrong Way” advertising campaign.
The Baja Chicken is available in small, regular and large sizes, priced from $4.39 to 7.99.
