DEDHAM Mass. Papa Gino's is looking to diversify its menu by bringing back burgers this week after a more than 10-year absence.
The burgers, which are made from Angus beef, are available in one-third single or two-third double portions and come in Classic, Mushroom Swiss and Bacon Cheddar varieties. Prices range from $5.99 for a Classic single to $8.99 for a double Mushroom Swiss or Cheddar Bacon with fries.
Papa Gino's said the Classic burger is similar to the chain's Papa Burger, which was on the menu from the 1970s to the mid-1990s.
The chain said the new burger lineup would help it offer more choices to customers. Papa Gino's menu also offers pizzas, subs and salads.
“We felt it was the right time to bring back the Papa Gino’s burger and provide our guests with another high quality, reasonably priced menu item,” said Rick Wolf, president and chief executive of Papa Gino’s Inc. “Guests are looking for more variety in their dining and we felt the Papa Gino’s burger line would complement our signature pizza portfolio.”
Papa Gino's Inc. operates or franchises more than 370 Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches locations, including some that are dual-branded.
