Usually New York's Shake Shack is closed from December through March, but for the first time this year the burger stand is remaining open for the winter months. It even has some new menu offerings.
The Hot Vanilla is made with the custard base used to make Shake Shack's signature frozen custard and milk. The drink is topped with whipped cream and streusel.
For $3.75, the Hot Vanilla is available in only one size, but it's a warm alternative for those who want frozen custard flavor without the chill.
