Macaroni Grill promo asks diners for their favorites

DALLAS Romano’s Macaroni Grill has launched an online promotion in which diners select their favorite items from the restaurant’s menu and describe why they’re special to them.

 

Customers who submit the most creative and “passionate” entries will win Macaroni Grill gift cards. One grand prize winner will receive a private, four-course dinner for 10 people, hosted by a Macaroni Grill chef at their local restaurant.

 

 

The 243-unit chain, a division of Brinker International Inc., set up a microsite at http://myamore.macaronigrill.com, where visitors can submit their entries and view the winners. The promotion will run through April 27, and the top 10 favorite menu items will be posted in late June.

 

 

Macaroni Grill considers the promotion a vehicle for strengthening brand loyalty with customers, said Nancy Hampton, vice president of brand strategy.
