TULSA Okla. The 131-unit Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe chain has rolled out two lower-calorie smoothies systemwide.
Available in mango-peach and pineapple flavors, the Slim Smoothies each have 125 calories and 17 grams of protein. The smoothies also have fewer than 10 net carbohydrates and only 1 gram of fat, the company said. The suggested price is $4.59.
Camille’s regular line of smoothies contain between 160 and 800 calories and 1 to 2 grams of protein.
“Our ongoing goal is to expand our customer base and reflect current customer trends through a variety of healthy and delicious menu items,” said David Rutkauskas, president and chief executive of parent company Beautiful Brands International.
