GLENDALE Calif. In an attempt to appeal to budget-conscious diners, the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar chain has launched a limited-time offer featuring a large appetizer and two entrees for $20.
As part of the "2 for $20" promotion, guests can choose from a list of four appetizers and nine entrees. Appetizers include spinach and artichoke dip, onion rings, boneless chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. Entrees include a 7-ounce sirloin, double crunch shrimp, a bacon cheeseburger, three-cheese chicken penne, Oriental chicken salad, a Riblet basket, fiesta lime chicken, a grilled Italian chicken Caesar salad and a chicken finger basket.
The 1,997-unit Applebee’s chain is a division of Glendale, Calif.-based DineEquity Inc., which also franchises the IHOP brand.
