Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has named Jourdan Daleo as chief operating officer for the U.S. and Canada, the company announced last week.
The Miami-based Popeyes, a division of Toronto-based Restaurant Brands International Inc. said Daleo will bring additional focus to operational consistency and franchisee support across more than 3,000 restaurants.
Daleo will oversee the brand’s field team, restaurant operations, and company-owned restaurants, and will continue to report to and work closely with Sami Siddiqui, president of Popeyes U.S. and Canada
“A greater focus on operational consistency is foundational to the success of our ‘Easy to Love’ strategy,” said Siddiqui in a statement. “Jourdan is a trusted partner who works closely with franchisees to not only grow the Popeyes family with high-performing operators, but also support strong execution of system-wide operations initiatives that will take our brand to the next level.”
Daleo joined Restaurant Brands International in 2016, holding senior roles in franchising, business development, field operations, analytics, and franchise performance across the portfolio of brands.
Other Popeyes appointments announced last week included Tiffany Ahmed to regional vice president for the East, Tiffany Shannon MckInney as regional vice president for the West and Devin Games as vice president of operations services. All were effectively immediately, the company said in a LinkedIn post.
Popeyes, founded in 1972 in New Orleans, La., has more than 4,000 restaurants in the U.S. and around the world. Parent RBI also owns and franchises the Burger King, Tim Hortons and Firehouse Subs brands.
