New menu items this week included: Applebee’s Grill & Bar's $1 Vodka Rum Frostbite, Carl’s Jr.'s Guacamole Bacon Thickburger Lettuce Wrap, Denny’s Parmesan Chicken Sizzlin’ Skillet, Shake Shack's new Shackmeister Burger and more.

Our biggest trending news this week is Taco Bell's five year goals starting in 2020. One such goal is to potentially pay select managers $100,000 a year. Starting this month, employees will be eligible receive at least 24 hours of paid sick time after 90 days of employment, as part of their new paid sick policy.
