12 executives on the move at restaurants across the country

See which restaurant chains have seen changes in the C-suite over the past month

In September, a slew of CEOs across the restaurant industry left or started new roles.

KFC and Chick-fil-A named new CEOs, and the chief executives of Dave & Buster’s and Carrols Restaurant Group announced their retirements. Both of the latter two companies are looking for permanent replacements.

Additionally, growing chain Mici Handcrafted Italian hired a chief growth officer as the chain announced plans to franchise.

The former CEO of Jimmy John’s took over a new role at Mongolian Concepts, parent to Genghis Grill, FlatTop Grill, and bd’s Mongolian Grill, while a former executive at Blaze Pizza joined Wetzel’s Preztels as chief marketing officer.

Also, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Luna Grill both announced new chief operations officers.

And Focus Brands named a new chief brand officer for McAlister’s Grill.
