TOLEDO Ohio Marco’s Pizza, a 170-plus-unit chain based here, has promoted Jim Strachan to vice president of operations. Most recently, he was director of franchise operations.
In his new position, Strachan oversees franchise operations and communications with 18 area representatives in 15 states. Strachan also is a four-unit Marco’s franchisee.
Before joining Marco’s, Strachan was director of franchise sales for Yorkshire Global Restaurants in Troy, Mich. He also spent 19 years with Little Caesars Pizza.
“Jim Strachan is an industry veteran who has been integral to Marco’s Pizza’s franchise growth and expansion during his 12 years here,” said Dave Black, executive vice president of operations for Marco’s. “We are thrilled to welcome Jim to this new role with the company and confident that he will continue to help guide Marco’s growth successfully.”
Marco’s has stores in 15 states.
