Did you know whiskey wasn’t the fastest growing spirit in the United States in 2014? Despite all the talk of a revolution in that category, Cognac sales actually grew faster. Meanwhile, sales of flavored vodka and rum shrank while people drank more and more flavored whiskey.
In bars, barrel-aged cocktails are now commonplace, so bartenders are trying new things, such as creating customized drinks for each customer, and old ones, such as classic cocktails.
