BEAVERTON Ore. Shari's Restaurants has launched a "Free Slice Wednesdays" promotion, which offers guests a free slice of pie with the purchase of any dinner entree.
Known for its pies throughout the Pacific Northwest, Shari’s is offering the free slice for a limited time at all of its 101 locations. The deal is good between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.
“We can all use a little treat in the middle of the week, and now Shari’s is providing that with a free slice of pie,” said David Archer, Shari’s vice president of marketing.
Giveaways have become a popular tactic among restaurants seeking to drive traffic during the difficult economy. T.G.I. Friday's on Monday said it had sent members of its guest-recognition program a coupon good for a free dessert or appetizer with the purchase of an entree, and Arby's is encouraging customers to try its new Roastburger sandwich for free with the purchase of a drink on Sunday.
