LOUISVILLE Ky. KFC is touting convenience with the Festive Feast, a new family-sized meal deal consisting of a “mega jug” serving of a soft drink, 10 pieces of chicken, two large side dishes, six buttermilk biscuits and a chocolate chip cake.
The meal is being promoted with a Festive Fanatics Contest, in which entrants vie for the title of the best holiday-decorated home. Contestants submit photos or videos of their decorated homes. The one selected as the best will be awarded a grand prize of a free food at KFC for a year, reimbursement of the winner’s December electricity bill and payment of one credit card bill. The contest runs through Dec. 14.
KFC also is promoting KFC gift checks during the holidays. The brand is owned by Yum! Brands, which operates or franchises more than 14,000 outlets in more than 80 countries.
