Jack in the Box unveils its New Year bargain

SAN DIEGO Jack in the Box has introduced a value-priced combination meal for the suggested price of $2.69. Dubbed the Big Deal, the meal includes either a chicken sandwich or a cheeseburger, plus two tacos and a 20-ounce soft drink.

“Following the spending frenzy of the holidays, many consumers have to tighten the purse strings in January,” said Teka O’Rourke, Jack in the Box’s director of menu marketing and promotions. “Our Big Deal offers a variety of flavorful, filling menu items at an affordable price, so guests don’t have to sacrifice taste and satisfaction for cost.”

Jack in the Box operates or franchises 2,100 namesake restaurants in 18 states, as well as more than 400 Qdoba Mexican Grill units in 39 states.
