RICHMOND, KY. —Four men dining at a local Waffle House here may have been innocent bystanders when a fight broke between two female customers, but police responding to the melee discovered they were anything but innocent following the brawl.
According to the Associated Press, as police entered the store, the men ran from the store without paying their $100 bill and jumped into a car in the parking lot. Following a chase that at times reached a speed of 100 mph, the men crashed the car into a pole and were captured by authorities.
