SALT LAKE CITY Great American Cookies, the 250-unit specialty dessert chain, has added a line of decorated cupcakes.
Made with a yellow cake base and topped with colored sanding sugar on white icing or mini M&Ms on fudge icing, the Great American Cupcake selections were launched this spring at participating Great American Cookies outlets in malls and shopping centers across the country.
Baked on site, the cupcakes can also be custom-decorated for special occasions.
The company's signature product is the Cookie Cake, which is marketed for birthday parties and other celebrations. Great American Cookies, based here, also offers a complete line of cookies and brownies.
