CARROLLTON Texas T.G.I. Friday's has added nine new menu items, including five entrees and an appetizer, a soup, a sandwich and a dessert.
The five new entrees include: lobster tortelloni, featuring cheese-filled tortelloni tossed in a rich lobster bisque and topped with lobster meat, Roma tomatoes, basil and Parmesan shavings; a parmesan-crusted chicken breast that is sautéed and served with a tomato-mozzarella salad; Southwestern grilled mahi mahi served over rice with corn salsa and broccoli florets and topped with pico de gallo and a chipotle sauce; Al's Fish Tacos with three flour tortillas filled with crispy nacho-crusted tilapia, shredded lettuce, corn salsa and a creamy lemon-dill remoulade sauce and served with tortilla chips and salsa; and a chicken tostada salad featuring shredded lettuce, corn salsa and mixed cheese tossed with an avocado-chipotle-ranch dressing, topped with ancho honey-glazed chicken breast, pineapple pico de gallo and crispy corn tortilla chips.
Friday’s also introduced an appetizer of Buffalo wings tossed in an ancho-honey glaze and served with green chile sour cream sauce; a white chicken chili; a California club sandwich made with mesquite smoked turkey breast, bacon, ham and Monterey Jack cheese stacked on toasted ciabatta bread; and a chocolate-peanut butter pie made with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
