CANTON Mass. Dunkin' Donuts said it added a white version of hot chocolate to its beverage lineup on Wednesday. The White Hot Chocolate joins Dunkin' Donuts' classic Hot Chocolate, both of which are topped with whipped cream. A large White Hot Chocolate in the New York area is selling for $2.48 while a large in the Boston area is selling for $2.19.

"Our research indicates strong consumer interest and appeal in chocolate, particularly as part of beverages," said Joe Scafido, chief creative and innovation officer for Dunkin' Brands, which also operates the Baskin Robbins and Togo's brands.
In October, Dunkin’ Brands announced that it plans to sell the Togo’s sandwich chain, but has not since released further details.
