Bugaboo Creek Steak House Enlists the ‘Army’ For Marketing Support

ATLANTA —Bugaboo Creek Steak House has named Small Army of Boston as its marketing agency of record.

Small Army will be responsible for developing an integrated campaign of print and radio ads, point-of-purchase material, interactive programs and public-relations efforts. Bugaboo Creek, a casual-dining concept with 30 units in the Northeast and Southeast, is currently a division of Atlanta-based Rare Hospitality International Inc. In late February, Rare announced that it had entered an agreement to sell the chain to Charlie Brown’s Acquisition Corp., a subsidiary of private-equity firm Trimaran Capital Partners. The deal, valued at $28 million, is expected to close by the end of June. Trimaran also owns Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse, a 55-unit casual dinnerhouse chain based in Mountainside, N.J. —Bugaboo Creek Steak House has named Small Army of Boston as its marketing agency of record.
