BK offers up another whiff of 'Flame'

MIAMI Scents and sensibility?

Just when you thought the air had cleared, Burger King Corp. reintroduced its Flame body spray Monday, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The body spray, which the company describes as “featuring the scent of seduction with the hint of flame-broiled meat,” became a hot stocking-stuffer. It sold out just three days after its December debut.

“People simply couldn’t get enough of Flame – even paying more than $100 for it on eBay,” said Brian Gies, vice president of marketing impact at Burger King. “Valentine’s Day presented the perfect opportunity to reintroduce the scent and give those who missed out in December the chance to channel the charms of the King.”

Flame will be available at select Ricky’s retailers or online at www.firemeetsdesire.com for a suggested price of $3.99.

Burger King operates more than 11,600 restaurants in all 50 states and in 73 nations and U.S. territories worldwide.
