Baja Fresh to digitize, archive documents

News

THOUSAND OAKS Calif. Human resources and financial documents for the 300-plus-unit Baja Fresh Mexican Grill chain will be digitized and archived by Casdex Inc. under a five-year agreement between that vendor and the chain's parent Baja Fresh Inc., Casdex indicated.

"With so many locations nationwide, it has become a Herculean task to keep track of all of our paper documents," said David Kim, chief executive of Baja Fresh Inc. "Implementing Casdex has helped us streamline our document management process without needing to worry about the security of our files so that we can focus on our most important priority: satisfying our customers."

Casdex, with offices in Los Angeles and San Jose, Calif., said it provides digital archiving services to businesses that need to preserve key documents electronically, but in a manner that can be submitted as evidence in court. It said its cloud-computing platform combines legally compliant electronic archiving capabilities with online access at  www.casdex.com.
