Noodles taps Caesars executive as CFO

Ken Kuick’s appointment is part of two senior management changes

Noodles & Co. has named Ken Kuick as its new CFO, effective Nov. 12.

Kuick comes to the Broomfield, Colo.-based fast-casual chain from Las Vegas where he’s held roles as chief accounting officer for both Caesars Entertainment and VICI Properties, a real estate investment trust.

CEO Dave Boennighausen said in a statement that Kuick “brings extensive leadership experience” to Noodles and will “instrumental in developing our financial roadmap over the next several years.”

The role of CFO has been vacant since interim CFO Sue Daggett left this summer. She filled that roll temporarily when former CFO, Boennighausen, became the brand's CEO in June 2017.

The company also named Melissa Heidman as the chain’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. The role is a promotion for Heidman, who previously served as the company’s associate general counsel. She’s been with Noodles since August 2011.

With the two appointments, Boennighausen said: “We now have a complete and solid leadership team that is focused on building upon our recent momentum and carrying the Noodles & Company brand to its vast potential.”

Noodles, founded in 1995, is known for its internationally-themed cooked-to-order pasta dishes. It has more than 450 restaurants.
