Chipotle Mexican Grill’s long-awaited smoked brisket is scheduled to launch Tuesday as a limited-time offer in the U.S. and Canada — available first only to Rewards members and then available starting Thursday to non-members.
Also, saying its new smoked brisket may be the “hottest drop of the year,” Chipotle Mexican Grill on Monday launched a “menu hack” promotion of a new menu item: Quesabrisket.
Like it sounds, the Quesabrisket features the new smoked brisket — which rolled out last week — in a quesadilla with queso blanco and both hot tomatillo-red chili salsa and the milder tomatillo-green chili salsa on the side.
Yum Brands announced Wednesday the promotion of Sabir Sami — who currently serves as KFC Division Global COO and managing director of KFC Asia — to KFC Division CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2022. Sami will be replacing current KFC CEO Tony Lowings, who is retiring at the end of the year. Additionally, KFC’s current chief development officer, Dyke Shipp, will be promoted to KFC Division president.
