Nation’s Restaurant News partners with Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange

New industry event in July 2020 to bring together global executives and next generation of leaders

Nation’s Restaurant News announces today a founding partnership with the Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange, a purpose-built, mid-year event that brings together global foodservice and hospitality leaders to access world-class speakers, dynamic and actionable content, deep insights and connections that will improve businesses and lives.

The event will be held July 26-29, 2020, in Sun Valley, Idaho.  As a founding partner in Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange, Nation’s Restaurant News will bring its independent industry insights and leading, authentic voice to develop event content and drive year-round community among attendees and partners through its media platforms. Foodservice executives turn to Nation’s Restaurant News — named the Best B2B Media Brand in 2019 by the Jesse H. Neal Awards — each day for actionable intelligence to drive their businesses forward.

With support from a founding advisory council including Microsoft, Yum Brands, PepsiCo, Denny's, Jersey Mike's, Wendy's, Sysco, Nestle Professional, Hershey and others, GFHE is produced and hosted by Revelry Group, a Certified B Corporation that creates shared value for its partners in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. Revelry’s team offers marketing and communications services, curated exchange experiences and innovative products.

“Nation’s Restaurant News, along with the broader Informa Restaurant & Food Group, is excited to partner with the Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange on what will be a game-changing event for foodservice leaders,” said Informa Group Publisher Sarah Lockyer. “As a member of the founding advisory board, I look forward to building a can’t-miss, mid-year strategic event that will complement our own educational offerings and new product showcases later in the year at MUFSO.”

“There is no better time than now to activate partnerships across the foodservice marketplace as innovative technology and changing consumer demands affect every business — providing both challenges to overcome and opportunities to grab hold of,” Lockyer said. “Through this partnership, Nation’s Restaurant News only deepens its commitment to providing intelligence and inspiration to the full, diverse foodservice industry.”

“Partnering with Nation’s Restaurant News on our inaugural Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange will allow our attendees and partners access to the best information, intelligence and media leadership in the foodservice market,” said Revelry Group President David Jobe. “There is no other media partner that could help us build a curated community of global leaders driving positive change in the foodservice and hospitality industry.”

“I look forward to partnering with the Revelry Group as a founding advisory board member and for Kellogg’s to serve as a founding partner in bringing to life the inaugural Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange in 2020. As our industry faces increasing disruption, the opportunity has never been greater to bring together partners from around the globe to explore industry-leading insights and best practices to continue meeting and exceeding consumer expectations today and into the future.”   — Wendy Davidson, President, Specialty Channels, Kellogg Company.

“I am honored to have been invited to serve as a founding advisory board member for the inaugural Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange. This mid-year event will bring together current and next generation leaders from our industry to a unique venue and location which will foster information exchange, thought leadership, and outstanding networking. It will be a platform and gathering to help chart a course for the future of foodservice hospitality.”   — John Inwright, President & CEO, Wendy’s QSCC
