BurgerFi names Henry Gonzalez chief marketing officer

Gonzalez was previously a founder of Bigger Slice Consulting

Palm Beach, Fla.-based fast-casual burger chain, BurgerFi International Inc., just announced the appointment of former Bigger Slice Consulting founder, Henry Gonzalez, as the company’s chief marketing officer. This is the third recent C-suite announcement BurgerFi has made, along with COO Jim Esposito and CFO Michael Rabinovitch, appointed in February and March, respectively. 

In his new position, Gonzalez will be helping to “redefine BurgerFi’s brand and value proposition.”

Henry-Gonzales-chief-marketing-officer-burgerfi.jpg“While Henry’s been successful across several industries and categories, his tenacity, efforts give a unique perspective into the food industry is undeniable,” Ophir Sternberg, executive chairman of BurgerFi said in a statement. “For over 25 years, his experience in sales and marketing for leading QSR chains, food manufacturers and ad agencies has effectively trained him to understand how to develop collaborative relationships that drive sales and profit growth.”

Gonzalez has 25+ years of marketing experience and in his previous position, consulted with brands on their marketing strategy and communications at Bigger Slice Consulting. Before that, he served as CMO of Costa Farms, where he developed promotions to serve Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ikea, and Kroger. He also served as senior vice president at Zimmerman Advertising and held multiple positions at Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

BurgerFi currently has 120 stores globally.
