Texas Roadhouse using new guest-management software

News

LOUISVILLE Ky. Texas Roadhouse Inc., based here, operator and franchisor of 310 casual-dining restaurants, at 30 company-run units is using the new Aloha Guest Manager software module for Aloha Point of Sale by Radiant Systems Inc., Radiant said.

"As one of the first restaurants to implement Aloha Guest Manager, we were excited to see many operational benefits, such as the ability to provide guests with more accurate wait-time quotes while increasing staff productivity," said Bill Kent, TRI vice president of information technology. "We have been able to effectively raise the level of service from the moment our customers walk into our restaurants, ultimately enhancing their overall guest experience."

Representatives of Alpharetta, Ga.-based Radiant said integrating Aloha Guest Manager with Aloha POS helps operators improve throughput and seat utilization by more efficiently managing reservations, wait lists and tables. They said the software, among other things, gives restaurant personnel the ability to store in the system notes about a customer's VIP status or special event, such as birthday or anniversary, and can initiate guest paging through a third-party system.
