McDonald's tests new, faster POS system

OAK BROOK Ill. A POS system in test at 200 McDonald’s units in the United States has improved order accuracy by replacing the keyboard's product labels with pictures, according to Matthew Paull, chief financial officer for franchisor McDonald's Corp. The registers are already in place at 10,000 stores worldwide, according to the chain.
