Dunkin’ location in Los Angeles dresses up for Barbie premiere

The restaurant across the street from Shrine Auditorium has gotten a pink makeover

Dunkin’ celebrated the July 9 premiere of the Warner Bros. film Barbie by temporarily redecorating one of its locations into an extremely pink “Dunkin’ Dream Store.”

The restaurant, located at 3335 S. Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, across from the Shrine Auditorium where the film’s gala debut was held, handed out free medium Dunkin’ Refreshers on that day.

The restaurant was also festooned with balloons, pink menu boards, streamers, and doughnut cases. Employees also were given special uniforms for the day.

In the film, starring Margot Robbie in the title role and Ryan Gosling as Ken, the platonic couple venture from their fantasy paradise into the real world and antics presumably ensue. There are musical numbers as well.

The movie will hit movie theaters nationwide on July 21.
