DENVER Vicorp Restaurants Inc. will sell all-you-can-eat pancakes at its Bakers Square and Village Inn restaurants through July 31 for the price of a gallon of gas.
To get pancakes at that price, customers must present a gas-purchase receipt. The national average price for a gallon of gas has dropped to $2.998, according to the American Automobile Association, or AAA.
As part of the promotion, the first since Ken Keymer became Vicorp's chief executive in April, both restaurant chains will distribute fuel-saving tips to customers through a marketing partnership with www.GasBuddy.com, which monitors gas prices at 900,000 gas stations nationwide.
Vicorp has 409 restaurants in 25 states.
