McAlister's Deli opened its 400th location in Cedar Hill, Texas, in late April with features that the brand is expanding to enhance its to-go sales. Paul Macaluso, president of the Focus Brands Inc. division, said the restaurant, opened by the Dallas-based Saxton Co. franchise group, features modified pickup areas and localized wall décor. The Atlanta-based McAlister’s has restaurants in 28 states.
