Menu Tracker: New items from Taco Bell, Starbucks, and Andy’s Frozen Custard

Plus innovation at Chicken Salad Chick, The Halal Guys, Krak Boba, Norms, North Italia, Paris Baguette, Pizza Inn, Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, Studio Movie Grill, Thirsty Lion, and Velvet Taco

Just as McDonald’s has launched a drink-forward concept, Taco Bell is testing new cold coffee drinks. It’s a very small test, in just two locations, but that’s how menu rollouts start.

Speaking of cold coffee, which make up around three quarters of Starbucks’ sales, that company has launched a new cold but nonetheless seasonally appropriate minty mocha drink.

Krak Boba, a 22-unit boba tea concept out of Riverside, Calif., also has entered the coffee game.

Studio Movie Grill has some new movie-themed drinks, as it does pretty much every month, and Andy’s Frozen Custard, to no one’s surprise, has cold holiday treats, and Paris Baguette has baked ones.

Chicken Salad Chick is reprising it’s Deck the Holly salad.

North Italia, Norms, and Ruby Slipper (and sister concept Ruby Sunshine) have a bunch of seasonal menu items, and Pizza Inn has a seasonal pie with spicy sausage

The Halal Guys have an herbaceous new sauce, Thirsty Lion has entrée and drink specials, and Velvet Taco’s Weekly Taco Feature is inspired by Thai curry.
