Menu Tracker: New items from Burger King, Taco Bell, and IHOP

Plus innovation at Alidoro, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Burgerville, Chester’s Chicken, Chopt, Condado Tacos, Coolgreens, Corner Bakery, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Gott’s Roadside, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Jimmy John’s, Krispy Kreme, O’Charley’s, Pollo Tropical, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, 7-Eleven, Tacos 4 Life, Torchy’s Tacos, and Velvet Taco

Truff, the company that makes hot sauce flavored with truffles, is on a roll at chain restaurants, currently landing a place atop Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries.

Burger King also has a new spicy item: The Ghost Pepper Whopper, all dressed up in Halloween colors.

Krispy Kreme also has some seasonal treats, featuring sugary ghosts, spiders, etc., and a bunch of other chains have new spicy items, including Chester’s Chicken, Chopt, Coolgreens, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, and Tacos 4 Life, Torchy’s Tacos has a new taco inspired by India, and Velvet Taco’s Weekly Taco Feature is made with sweet potatoes.

In what might be a first, Alidoro, a small sandwich chain in New York City, is doing a collab with the Metropolitan Transit Authority. It’s celebrating the anniversary of the operator of the city’s subway system with a sandwich using meat from the legendary Katz’s Deli.

There are seasonal pumpkin items from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Corner Bakery, Andy’s Frozen Custard, and Bruster’s Real Ice Cream. Andy’s and Bruster’s also have seasonal apple items, as do Burgerville and 7-Eleven.

Pollo Tropical, on the other hand, is focused on guava.

IHOP has many new items, including Salisbury steak and salmon, O’Charley’s has a new salmon dish, too, among other items, and Red Robin is featuring two cheese sauces.

Condado Tacos has a new item inspired by stuffed peppers, Jimmy John’s has a new roast beef sandwich, and Gott’s Roadside has a chicken torta.
