Same-store sales report: October 2019

Each month, Nation’s Restaurant News presents highlights of recent same-store sales results from the more than 70 public restaurant companies and divisions it tracks.

Taco Bell’s 7% second-quarter same-store sales growth was nearly three times the average 2.4% improvement among other quick-service chains. And of the 12 companies with multiple concepts tracked, Taco Bell parent Yum Brands led the pack, with latest-quarter average comps growth of 3.8%. Meanwhile, Darden’s blended comps slow, Rave continues its growth streak and Cracker Barrel gets a boost from fried chicken.

Take a look at recent same-store sales highlights.
