GAITHERSBURG Md. Sodexho Inc., the contract foodservice operator based here, is deploying the Contract and Rebate Management, or CaRMA, application from iTRadeNetwork Inc. for help in handling supply-chain matters.
Representatives of Livermore, Calif.-based ITN said its software can be used by Sodexho to collaborate online with its supply partners to ensure agreement on and accurate application of contract terms. They said CaRMA provides on-demand electronic communication and validation and synchronization of contract and performance data among manufacturers, distributors, brokers and operators, thereby fostering more timely and accurate payments and lower administrative costs.
"CaRMA will enhance our contract management through better synchronization of data, better collaboration within our supply chain and the eventual provision of more timely, transparent information to selected supply chain partners," said Ann Oka, Sodexho's senior vice president of supply management.
