Perkins Restaurant & Bakery launches new menu

New items include skillets, burgers and benedicts

Memphis-based Perkins Restaurant & Bakery has launched a new menu featuring new breakfast and supper skillets as well as burgers and a variation on eggs Benedict.

The new items are:

California Avocado Benedict: Two basted eggs, avocado, Applewood smoked bacon, roasted tomatoes, pepper Jack cheese, hollandaise sauce and garlic seasoning atop an English muffin, served with hash browns and fruit, $10.79 may vary by location

Three breakfast skillets have been introduced, priced at around $9.49-$9.99

Spinach & Mushroom Skillet: Spinach, onions, cremini mushrooms and roasted tomatoes with egg whites over homestyle seasoned potatoes
The Everything Skillet: Diced grilled ham, cremini mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes, onions and American cheese with two eggs over homestyle seasoned potatoes
The Big Country Skillet: Pork sausage, applewood smoked bacon, smoked ham, American cheese and cream gravy with two eggs over fried smashed tots

Three supper skillets, available at lunch and dinner, have been introduced, priced at around $10.79-$12.99.

Balsamic Glazed Salmon Skillet: Atlantic salmon with sautéed cremini mushrooms, sweet red onions, zucchini, summer squash, red bell peppers and oven roasted tomatoes served over fresh spinach and herb rice pilaf with white balsamic vinaigrette
Kickin’ Chicken Tortilla Skillet: Black bean and sweet corn relish topped with Cajun pulled chicken, sour cream, tortilla straws, American cheese and avocado in a seasoned broth, served over herb rice pilaf
Steak & Peppers Skillet: USDA Choice steak tips with red bell peppers, caramelized onions, cremini mushrooms and beef gravy, served over homestyle seasoned potatoes

Perkins has also introduced five new burgers all with Angus beef prepared medium well priced at $9.99-$10.99 with choice of fries or a cup of soup:

The Breakfast Burger: Topped with seasoned hash browns, maple bacon, cheddar cheese and a fried egg on a warm brioche bun
The Frisco Burger: Two beef patties, fried onion rings, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, sweet red onions, pickles and Thousand Island dressing on Parmesan sourdough bread
A1 BBQ Bacon Burger: Topped with a blend of A1 steak sauce and barbecue sauce, caramelized onions, pepper Jack cheese, black pepper bacon and Onion Tanglers on a warm brioche bun
Sweet ‘N Spicy Sriracha Burger: Topped with candied jalapeños, poblano queso, Sriracha bacon, cheddar cheese, smashed tots, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and sweet red onions on a warm brioche bun
Classic Cheeseburger: Topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, sweet red onions, pickles and signature sauce on a warm brioche bun
