It's summertime, and that means it’s time for refreshing thirst quenchers. But people like to stay hydrated all year long, and beverages are highly profitable check boosters that also happen to get high engagement on social media, so many chains are also taking the opportunity to add permanent additions to their beverage menus, including Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, Beans & Brews Coffee House, Blank Street Coffee, Caribou Coffee, Chili’s Grill & Bar, First Watch, Shake Shack, Starbucks, Tacodeli, and Vitality Bowls.

Summertime specials include watermelon at chains including Smoothie King and Tacos 4 Life, and strawberry drinks at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Clean Juice, Dutch Bros, El Torito, Häagen-Dazs, Playa Bowls, Rush Bowls, Sonic Drive-In, and Wendy’s.

Auntie Anne’s has a new lemonade and there are new alcoholic beverages at Another Broken Egg, Eggs Up Grill, North Italia, P.F. Chang’s, Smokey Bones, and TGI Fridays.

New shakes have been rolled out at Cousins Subs, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Elevation Burger, Mooyah, and there are new smoothies and or iced blended drinks at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, The Human Bean and Scooter’s Coffee.
