Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant has named Amy Hom as chief operating officer, the company confirmed Monday.
The Norwalk, Conn.-based Barcelona Wine Bar, which has 22 tapas bars, the lifestyle brand Conserva Culture, and a new small-plates restaurant, Corsica, said Hom has “an impressive background in hospitality and career spanning over three decades in the industry.”
Hom has served in leadership roles at restaurant groups that include Wolfgang Puck, California Pizza Kitchen, and Sweetgreen, among others. Most recently, she served as the chief people officer and chief operations officer for Bluestone Lane.

Hom and other restaurant executives founded LEAD, an organization committed to providing networking, education, and development opportunities for emerging leaders in the restaurant category. The organization is doing that through a series of events across the U.S. this year.
Barcelona Wine Bar, founded in 1995, has 22 units in 10 states and the District of Columbia. It was acquired by private-equity firm L Catterton in 2019, during the purchase of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc.
