Togarashi is a spice blend made from peppers and other ingredients, such as sesame, seaweed and citrus peel. It is often used to finish dishes containing tuna, edamame, avocado and cucumber.
Togarashi is in the Inception stage – it’s considered a premium ingredient that can be found on mostly fine dining menus and at ethnic independents.
