5 brands that broke into the 2019 Top 200 restaurants chains

The NRN Top 200 saw several new faces join the ranks this year, as five rising brands grew sales enough in the Latest Year to make the list for the first time.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar and True Food Kitchen, both among the fastest-growing brands in the Top 200, rode double-digit sales growth to land at Nos. 191 and 200, respectively. Three other brands — Golden Chick, Wetzel’s Pretzels and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill — also improved their sales enough to make their debuts on list.
